Factored Form

Factored form is an equation used to represent a quadratic relation. The factored form of an equation can be described as the product of constant and two linear terms.

The factored form of a quadratic relation is written in the form:

                                                                 y = a(x-r)(x-s)

In the factored form of an equation, the "r" and "s" values are the zeros, which can be used to find the axis of symmetry, the optimal value and the vertex of a parabola.
